Avoid commercial preparations as they are loaded with sugar and preservatives. Give all home made food preparation.

Vritika AroraMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy7 years agoA. yes you can give corn flakes to the baby with milk in the breakfast. it is complete meal when served with milk. it is not specially a weight gain foods. The child is thin or fat doesn't matter. What matters is that the child is healthy active playful and urinating properly. Do not over feed the baby just to gain weight as it may lead to indigestion and vomiting. Rest the foods which help to increase weight are banana( only in the morning) homemade full fat yogurt (only in the morning) mango eggs ragi oats sweet potato avocado pulses potato almond. Continue with breast milk or formula milk. Add desi ghee to the meals after 8 month. Massage your baby regularly for 5-7 mins and bathe the baby after massage. Wrap the baby properly, feed the baby and make him sleep. Sound sleep after bath also helps to increase weight.
