hi iam in my 17th week pregnant my TSH LEVEL are 4.4 even after taking 38mg thyroid tablet what would be the reason last month it was 1.33 now it drastically increased.please answer what would be the reason

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. as the pregnancy duration increases there can be changes of TSH you had to adjust the dose of thyronorm see that TSH is within normal limits please contact your doctor for proper advice in this regard o k

It’s very difficult to say a reason like this because sometimes it increases during the time of pregnancy automatically due to hormonal changes or thro some issue with the thyroid gland so if you’re looking for an app reason then maybe a doctor would be able to suggest you the best
