Q.

Hi, I am 20 weeks pregnant and got my TIFFA scan recently where I found my placenta is 1.9 cm posterior to the internal OS. during last scan in 17th this wasn't the case it was 2.9 cm posterior to internal OS and was told it will adjust as uterus grows but that did not happen. please let me know if there is any problem , do's and don'ts Thanks in advance

A. It is definitely a high-risk pregnancy as the safe distance is at least 2.5 cm away and as it is less than that it is considered as a Low lying Placenta which may extend to placenta previa.Write Your Answer Here
