Q.

Hi, Having pain in clitoris area after delivery. is it normal? It's been 6 weeks since delivery.

A. Yes, it's normal so take good rest. First of all, you should give your body ample time to come back to normal. Take good rest, avoid stress, eat nutritious and balanced diet. Prefer home cooked foods. Include nuts, seeds, all seasonal fruits and green leafy vegetables, lentils in your diet. Drink plenty of fluid. Drink 3 glasses of milk in a day. Take your calcium and iron supplements regularly for 3 months.

A. if you are paying in your vaginal apply tourist area it is better consult with your gynecologist once for proper examination some time there maybe some infection their leading to such symptoms

A. Yes thats normal after delivery. In few cases it lasts upto 6 months and longer than that .It is normal if the pain is mild, in case of severe pain, do consult with your gynaecologist once and get yourself checked

A. It is not normal however Since you are a lactating mother you must always consult with your gynecologist before consumption of any medicines because whatever you consume will directly affect the baby through your milk
