A. UMBILICAL HERNIA, DOESN'T BLEED, RULE OUT OTHER CAUSES ,CHECK OUT WHETHER INJECTION VITAMIN K WAS GIVEN OR NOT. 1.DONT WORRY, WAIT AND OBSERVE 2.,NO INTERVENTIONS NEEDED TILL 2 YEARS FOR UMBILICAL HERNIA 3.GIVE VITAMIN D AND CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS.. 4.CONSULT PED SURGEON IF DOESN'T SUBSIDES BY 2 YEAR 5.KINDLY RULE OUT HYPOTHYROIDISM. 6.CONSULT SOS IF OTHER ABNORMAL FEATURES PRESENT. A. the exact cause of bleeding may not be the hernia it may be something else many times there may be some infection in the local region which needs proper assessment

A. Mostly It does not but still to be on the safer side if you want you should get it checked with your doctor there is a very few chance that it’s going to bleed but in most of the cases it does not but still a doctor would be able to provide you more clarity after check up
