Hi Doctors. My 4.5 month old daughter was born with birth weight of 2kg (late pre term at 37 weeks). Till 3rd month milestone her weight gain was fine as she had reached 4.2kg. Now her weight is 5kg. Is this weight gain fine? I am worried that the weight gain has slightly reduced.

A. Hello mom The best thing is she is gaining weight gradually and that is a very good health indicator so nothing to worry .. their will be variations at times. Other things to observe is how active and playful the baby is for his age.
