Give Dal Ka Pani or rice Ka Pani or rice porridge or mashed carrot or any one vegetable puree or clear vegetable soup or any one fruit puree or stewed pear or stewed apple. Give sips of water in between meals.

Instead try a gentle tummy massage to help get rid of abdominal tension and gas. Applying light pressure on baby's tummy by rubbing his belly might also help to soothe him. Burp the baby during and after each feed.
