Q.

hi Doctor, my baby is close to 2 months old. since from couple of days she is taking a long naps like 4-5 hours without a feed , is that common ? or should I wake her up for feed ?

A. this is common as the baby completes six weeks then baby can sleep without feed around 5-6 hrs .. some babies will not take feed whole night as sleeping.. you can feed after baby wakes up

Q. #asktheexperts Hi Doctor, My baby girl is 56 days old now. She takes only a few naps, that is of 5 to 10 minutes in between 6 hours at day time. She does not take a long nap in between 6 to 7 hours. This is not a regular thing, but most days it's like this. Sometimes she sleeps for a long time at day time also. There are no other issues like crying, not drinking milk and all, she is just awake for hours without proper naps. Is this due to hunger?
