#asktheexperts Hi Doctor, My baby girl is 56 days old now. She takes only a few naps, that is of 5 to 10 minutes in between 6 hours at day time. She does not take a long nap in between 6 to 7 hours. This is not a regular thing, but most days it's like this. Sometimes she sleeps for a long time at day time also. There are no other issues like crying, not drinking milk and all, she is just awake for hours without proper naps. Is this due to hunger?

A. no please don't give such things please provide breasfeeding only once baby reach at age of 6 months,you can start giving semisolid food to your child

A. What we can give for a 56 days old baby, other than milk? can we give soaked dates and nuts as a paste for the baby.

A. hi yes ,it happens because of hunger,need of diaper change,gas or not feeling comfortable while sleeping so please check it all
