Hi Doc , I have a 7 months baby whom I am nursing. I am not having my menstrual cycle started yet. Should I visit gynaecologist . Is this a major concern or shall I wait for couple of months.

Hi periods start after different time in different patients ... there is no fixed rule .. to some extent it depends upon if you are breast feeding ur child ...but u can conceive even if you are not having periods so use contraception

as some time it may take a year after delivery to get the first period or the menstrual cycle to start..
it is fine that your period has not started yet..
always have a protected intact as to prevent the unwanted pregnancies..
