hi am 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant didn't get the pain so my doctor was advised to take mifegest tablet and admit in the hospital. am worried that this tablet is used to abort the baby in early pregnancy.. so pls any doctors suggest me with ur guidance is it OK to take the tablet r not..

Why is your doctor advising you to take this tablet because you still have time to reach your labour or your estimated delivery date so I don’t think so you need to take any medicine and yes you are right the purpose of the medicine is what you mentioned is correct so avoid taking that medicine and consult your doctor again tell them that you don’t want to take the medicine is there any other alternative to trigger the labour otherwise you can ask them if you can have castor oil to trigger labour or can have sweep stretch if your pregnancy is going good these things will work for you
