hi all please tell me my baby is premature born on 33 weeks 4 days i gave him 30 ml formula please tell me this is the right quantity aur should I increase because I don't feel he is satisfied he is now 1 month 6 days old

A. the amount of formula milk depends on baby's weight. baby should be given 150-200ml of formula feed for every kg of baby weight. for example if baby is 3 kgs then give 450-600 ml in 24 hrs. that is the thumb rule.dividethis through the day. But since all babies are different then the quantity may vary a bit also.  Please refer to the instructions on the box also once where the quantity will be given as per baby's weight or age. One note about formula feeding: It's easier to overfeed when using formula because it takes less effort to drink from a bottle than from a breast.so please make sure you keep an on the quantity.
