Hi All, I'm 5+2 weeks pregnant. Have this light green discharge without odor or itching in very small quantities. Consulted online and one gy/obs prescribed cansoft cl pessary for 3 days and the other who performed vaginal examination said this is an infection common in pregnancy which won't harm the foetus so proper hygiene and using cotton cloth changed frequently would suffice. Now I'm confused what to do? The pessary is a schedule H drug and I since it has to be administered vaginally I feel scared that it might harm the baby or cause birth defects. I also feel if I left the infection untreated might also harm the baby. On reading about it, there are articles which mention infection leads to miscarriages or ectopic pregnancy. I am unable to think straight. Yesterday I had spotting -2 drops maybe and on duphaston now. I'm just panicking. If there is no discomfort or pain just the color of the discharge is bothering me should I let it be until I complete first trimester ?
