Q.

Hi all, I am a mother of 2 months old baby, my baby is not latching and I have tried to feed him through breast but he is not latching. so I am pumping the milk through breast pump and feeding him. is it safe to me to pump the milk everytime? please suggest me on this

A. yes, it's safe fir you to pump breast milk. try to latch directly to your breast..and also Continue spoon feeding as well.. give your baby is in the right position, Lightly compress your breast, giving it a shape more closely resembling your baby's mouth. Turn her mouth toward your breast; then tickle her lips with your nipple until her mouth is open wide.Allowing her to take your nipple and areola into her mouth.

A. hi.. even I am facing the same issue and I tried each and every method to make her latch but she is not latching. I pump every time and feed her, don't know what to do.

A. tq u for ur response. I have tried the nipple shield of Medela company..but he is not latching in that as well.. so I am pumping through breast pump always. ie., 10 times a day..is it safe .kindly reply to this

A. Hi mom. Yes it is safe to pump the milk and feed ur baby. There is no problem in that.. Ur baby might not be latching due to small or inverted nipples. U can buy #Babyhug nipple shield to feed ur baby..
