Q.

Hello Sir, My daughter is hospitalised now and pedestrian suggested a blood report and dengue report. I have attached report for your reference. They are saying viral infection has been diagnosed, however dengue report hasn’t been arrived yet. They only treat a paracetamol through vein and bottle. Kindly have a look at the report and let me know your thoughts. She got 100+ fever three times yesterday. Doctor says you will be noticed this two days, thereafter she will be ok. Are they right?

A. The reports seem fine , don't worry . Mostly it may be viral , so only symptomatic treatment is given. Antibiotics or any other injections are not required for viral infection. It will take around 3-4 days to get relieved.
