Q.

Hello, my baby is now 2 months 24 days old. He is a premature baby. After 30-45 days of his birth, he started biting while breastfeeding. And almost every alternate day he bites 3-4 times a day. Also to let you know that my baby falls asleep most of the time while feeding. Sometimes, he wakes up and cries a lot ( cries very very much) so that I have to immediately feed him. What could be the problem? How can I stop him from biting?

A. Hello dear Most of the times it is hunger that wakes the baby up and other reasons being for some soothing comfort from the mother through breastfeeding and it is absolutely normal

A. Well Sometimes kids start to have their teeth early than the usual time then they start biting you can use a nipple shield to protect your nipples and your breast properly and the second thing that you mentioned that your child is crying when you’re trying wakes up suddenly that could definitely be due to colic pain so you can give colic aid to the child regularly whenever you feel that your child is having colic pain for initial six months the dosage is going to be six drops
