Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is 30 months old. He say mama, papa and 2 or 3 words. His birth was premature. Is it worried about this or not. Pls give some suggestions.

A. kids usually speak properly only after they enter a school.so there's nothing to worry... talk to your child more often.. recite stories.. otherwise you need to wait till completion of one more year

A. Hi this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid.
