hello mam ...my baby passes urine frequently but he has not pooed since 4 days..he makes uncomfortable sound and takes back up ...what should be done to make him feel comfortable...

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician7 months agoA. It is quite natural for a child who is only on breastfeed to not pass tools for 7 to 10 days. I did no treatment is required for the same. You continue with your exclusive breastfeeding. Make sure that you’re burping properly after each feed.

A child can go without pooping for 12 days also at a stretch and there is no problem if your child is very discomfort or crying because of that then you can put a suppository into the anal region of the child to clear the system within 3 to 4 hours otherwise actually there is no need of the child is fine
