Q.

hello everyone, my daughter is 11 months old. She's had a cold since a week . for which I've given her maxtra oral drop for 0.5ml three times a day for 5 days. but the cold symptoms didn't change. so I took her to the paediatrician. He suggested hicope 10mg syrup in a dose of 3.5ml thrice a day for 5 days. after giving her the medicine she's sleeping a lot for which her food pattern is getting disturbed. so I'm worried if the dose of hicope is correct for her or not.

A. whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructiozns given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whethezr any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .
