Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. just steam for the small.baby. Nasal block or congestion is due to the common cold and flu mainly due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

no , syrup can not be given without examining your child.
so please consult your pediatrician for proper medication.
please offer plenty of breastfeeds which help your child to get recovery from this faster.
Apply warm paste of Turmeric powder on your child chest and back
give sunbath for 20 minutes a day.
