ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Hi,watery eyes are normal condition in early age..baby's tear duct may not have fully developed yet.
You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool.
Do massaging the tear duct area twice or thrice aday, y.
Apply medium pressure with clean index finger to the part of your baby's eye closest to the nose and massage downward, toward the nose.

Other causes of watery eyes in infants and toddlers include infections like conjunctivitis (pink eye) or even the common cold. Your child may even experience watery eyes from irritants or hay fever.
