Hello Dr,My baby is 23months old and from yesterday he is having cold with high fever. I gave him crocin 120,Two times(4hourly) with Allegra but temp didnt come down, So I gave him meftal P(4pm) and crocin again at 8pm but now again he is having 102fever(1:30am) What I have to do

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wiklikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as pfer the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
