Q.
hello doctor, my son is 3 months old, at day time he aften drinks milk but at night he wont wake up for 5 hours or 6 hours. should I feed only when he wakes up or should I make him wake up and drink? if so for how many hours should I wake him up? please guide.

ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear ma’am, if he is taking frequent feeds during the day time, has adequate urine count, gaining weight then it’s fine to give a gap of four to five hours at night but at the same time night feeds are equally important to maintain your milk supply
