hello doctor, my son is 3 months old, at day time he aften drinks milk but at night he wont wake up for 5 hours or 6 hours. should I feed only when he wakes up or should I make him wake up and drink? if so for how many hours should I wake him up? please guide.

A. Dear ma’am, if he is taking frequent feeds during the day time, has adequate urine count, gaining weight then it’s fine to give a gap of four to five hours at night but at the same time night feeds are equally important to maintain your milk supply
