hello doctor, my 9 month old baby potty seems like undigested food in it...though there are not any pieces as I am giving her mashed and semi liquid food but the texture of potty seems like it has undigested food and sometimes mucus also.. what should I do?

A. hi.. since young babies are not toilet trained they tend to poop whenever they want to tu, hence the food doesn't sit in the colon for longer time for the bacterias to act on it, so you can see undigested food in your baby's poop.. its normal but make sure that you are giving appropriate person size and don't over feed the baby
