Q.
hello doctor.... my 2 year 4 month baby.. got suddenly fever yesterday evening.. we gave medicine and she vomited then her fever increasing and few hours later she was not unconscious her eyes was open... we put lots of water on her then she blinked.. we took her to the hospital.. doc gave medicine.. but want to know y this happened

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. don't put water like this. sometimes kids got silent seizure during fever. so be very careful. give medication on time keep child under observation for next 24 hours

Sometimes you don’t have fever when the fever reaches the brain this kind of thing is quite possible I would recommend you that you get a proper test done for your child consult a neurologist as well because this behaviour is definitely not nice and neither healthy for the child so it’s important that once you should get a check with the doctorWrite Your Answer Here
