Q.

Hello doctor. I am breastfeeding my child. my 5 month old child feeding patterns vary between 1.5-2hrs. I have read that post 4months the gap between feed increases . my child's patterns hasn't changed since 4 months. is this ok . does it change post 6 months ? will I be able to notice a change because now I need to figure out if my child is really hungry , as there is a association to sleep and feed too.

A. hi mam ,as far as your child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day , achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry about it much. you must offer breasfeeding as per your child needs.
