Hello doc My baby is six and a half months old Is it safe to give my baby polyethene glycol ? Does it have any side effects?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also guwhen initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 yeayr of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
