Q.

good evening doctor, my daughter is 5.5 years old, she had fever around 101 but then she slept without taking any medication. should I wake her up to give medicine

A. if fever is high. you need to wake up the child as high fever can cause seizure in infants do don't let it go above 102 and start antibiotics after consulting your paediatrician

No If your child sleeping let your child sleep in the meanwhile you start doing Thanda Pani ki patti on the forehead and behind the knees of your child that is going to help in reduction or fever gradually and if it is required and make up your child give something to eat and then medicine after at least half an hour of that
