Q.

during pregnancy I'm suffering from hypothyroidism,after delivery I went for regular checkup bt my thyroid still present TSH-5.757,during pregnancy my doctor prescribed 75mcg thyronorm,now at this time should I take same 75mcg or reduce ?

A. If the TSH level is elevated than normal then you need to increase the dosage of the thyroxine medication also. You need to consult a physician and get properly evaluated for the sameWrite Your Answer Here

A. hi mom u need to consult with your doctor to reduce the dose gradually as the thyroid parameter r different in non pregnant stage ... so plz consult with your doctor

A. pls don't do self medication, check with Ur doc and they will prescribe suitable medicines..thyroid can be life long issue or can fluctuate depending on health...it's better if u go for regular check ups with Ur endo doc

A. Please avoid self medication and consult your doctor regarding the same and she will be able to guide you better after examination and analysis Follow the doctors instructions and continue with the prescribed medicine. Also try doing some yoga under an instructor and this will help you Have a healthy diet
