can we give salt warm compress for breast infection during breast feeding

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician6 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 1 month old and you have some breast infection,if it is breast abscess,then you should not feed baby on that side breast,you can have a hot salt pressure on the infected side.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children6 years agoA. if there is blocked duct or infection in the breast hot compress can be done to relieve pain and congeston you can use cloth soaked in hot water or else you can use salt compress also no problem
