can u use slice onion under the feet n put socks overnight for cold for babies to heal

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children7 years agoA. I would suggest not to do so as the baby's skin is delicate.
Light massage of mustard oil or coconut oil will help your baby to get relief from cough. Do massage on chest & back of your baby.
Roast 2–3 big cloves of garlic & few pinches of Ajwain on tawa for just one minute. You will be able to smell powerful fumes. Let the mixture cool down and keep near your child. The smell of mixture will heal the cold & cough of your child. You can also bind the mixture in pouch for better handling.
Warm up coconut oil and add tulsi leaves. Apply this
oil on chest of your baby before sleep. You can also do hair massage with same oil
. It will give relief from cold and cough

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 4 m old girl7 years agoA. Avoid it. Saline drops do wonders to blocked nose, pour 2 to 3 drops in each nostril with the head of the baby tilted down to facilitate the easy flow of the saline into the nose.
Allow the baby to inhale the eucalyptus oil.The oil can be also be sprinkled in the baby beddings. ensure that the baby is taking more of liquids/water
Heat coconut oil and add little powdered camphor in it. After it has cooled, pour 4 to 5 drops to your palm and apply very little evenly over the chest of your baby.
