can newbornbaby apply turmeric for face and body before bathr?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. No need to apply turmeric on face or body of a new born baby. If is not required. Try to keep the skin as natural as possible as sometimes these things cause skin allergy. No please avoid it. Give bath with Luke warm water and apply mild lotion afterwards.

Mahathi MohammadMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Hi.. Please don't apply any kind of products like haldi,besan to a new born . Their skin will be extremely sensitive and they can't even bare a baby soap. It is better to apply any kind of baby bath wash which are easily available in the market. Pls don't experiment with their skin. This is from my own experience.

AartiMom of a 9 yr 10 m old boy7 years agoA. no..not at all...as newborn baby skin is very delicate and turmeric is very warm for new baby sensitive skin...just use regular water and tip.to toe wash from a good brand to wash his hair and body

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old child7 years agoA. hello ..yes you can apply pure turmeric small quantity of it...but make sure you do patch test before you apply for whole body...some kids can be allergic on using turmeric...so better to make a patch test...use only if baby is not allergic
