can I use cetaphil body lotion on baby's head as flakes are coming and it's itching.

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. it recvers at 6 to 12 months. just oil it if its dry. avoid excess shampoo. if its patchy ,oily, wash with mild shampoo. use soft bristled comb to remove the flakes. dont worry, its harmless. consult doctor if it spreads, or its itching excessively. avoid lotion on head

Then lightly brush your baby's scalp with a soft brush to further loosen the scales of the cradle cap area(s) and sweep them away. Choose a pure oil like organic olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil.
