Can I put nasal drops while my baby is sleeping or should put while he is awake

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician6 years agoA. Yes sure Can put nasoclear saline drops even when baby is sleeping No problem Nasoclear saline drops just clear the nasal block. It doesn't help in decreasing nasal congestion. But if nasal congestion is minimal then better to avoid to give nasal drops in first 3months of age. If significant nasal congestion night awakening exessive cry due to nasal congestion then give Nasivion baby nasal drops 1drop in each nostril 4 times a day for 2 days only. It will help

s madaanMom of a 10 yr 1 m old girl6 years agoA. you may put it when the baby is sleeping there is no issue but then your baby might be irritated because of the same so need not to be worried over this at all just take care that you keep put your baby on your lap and then only you should use it
