SCDMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl8 years agoA. For normal diaper rash it will disappear by applying normal diaper rash cream which contains zinc oxide. that's all. candid is given for fungal infection.

PADMINI KASHYAPMom of a 10 yr 1 m old boy8 years agoA. Do not apply antifungal ointments for diaper rash. Instead apply cold cream on the area around anus before using a diaper.If the rash is very severe u can apply desonide / desowen ointment twice daily and keep the baby diaper free as much as u can. In fact I used to apply this very good ointment B4 nappy to my babys bums before using diapers. It kind of prevented nappy rash.
