Q.
can I give dulcolax suppository to 2 months 5 days baby for passing motion.I am so worrying about baby. Is it normal that baby not passed motion since 10 days.Till how many days it is normal for passing motion

This is simply a constipation Constipation is quite common in babys less than 1yrs of age No need to worry for that Give tummy times ie putting baby on his or her tummay frequently in a day time (4-5 min each time) under observation will help. Feed ur baby as per demand Burp properly after each and every feed for at least 10 min or till baby take 4 burp. Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day If baby is feeling discomfort or crying exessively then Need to do rectal stimulation, apply some drops of oil over rectal area It will help. If it doesn't work ; Need rectal enema, for which u need to visit ur nearest pediatrician once.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children6 years agoA. Please avoid it until it is advised by the doctor. Massage the baby's tummy around the navel and give cycling exercises to the baby. Take some hot water put a hand towel and squeeze out excess water put it on the baby's tummy. Press the baby's knees gently on the tummy. Drink lots of water and also drink a glass of water before feeding the baby. If the problem persists Consult a paediatrician and he will guide you better
