Please dont add salt or sugar till your pediatrician suggest your baby. You can dilute and add tender coconut water to dhal rice or veggie puree. Tender coconut water is filled with electrolytes, calcium, potassium, sodium and magnesium. A natural isotonic beverage with the same level of electrolyte balance as we have in our blood.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Babies need only a very small amount of salt: less than 1g (0.4g sodium) a day until they are 12 months. Your baby's kidneys can't cope with more salt than this. Before your baby is six months old, he will get all the sodium he needs from breastmilk or infant formula milk.
