Uma RamMom of 2 children4 months agoA. Hello good evening !! In general cold,cough takes 3-7 days to recover even after using medication. The cold might be reduced within 3-4 days but the cough takes 3+ days . As the baby is 6 months old give medication along with breast feed which helps in keeping the baby hydrated and improves immunity .
