After feeding keep the baby in the upright position for at least 20 mins and pat gently so that the baby will burp Dont lay down the baby immediately after feed. Also if possible give adequate support and slightly make the baby sleep on the left side with his head raised high Ensure the baby doesn't turn to his stomach in between sleep This will ensure the baby doesn't choke on his own spit up
