what should I do to make my 1.5 yr daughter speak words . Earlier she used to talk in her baby tone like maa , papa, quack, apple some other words but now she doesn't want to speak . she wants to do all her work through her expression. She understands everything like we ask her to bring the ball , she will bring it . but she wont say ball . She's having every sense good. Should I meet a paediatrician for the same or wait for a few more months.

Regarding Speech  Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months  fof age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need  to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
