Q.

#asktheexperts my daughter is seven months old and she has cough on 24th December for that My doctor suggested Levocet syrup 2.5 ML twice a day, but on 25th December fever comes, and it was between 99°F to 100 , for that my doctor suggested T 98 ,1.2 ML whenever fever repeated I have given T 98 on an interval of six hours because every time fever repeats from 25th December to 27 December. On 28 December My doctor suggested antibiotic ZIFI 50 3ML twice a day, so on 28th morning at 9:30 AM I have given ZIFI 50 and T 98 at 10:30 AM in the morning coz fever was recorded and then fever didn’t come again on that entire day after 10:30 AM, but today on 29 December I have given ZIFI 50 3 ML at 11 am but fever repeat again at 1 PM, it was 99. Please suggest

A. 99 is a very base fever so if you look at it the fever is reducing and sometimes due to viral and infection in the tummy the fever can stay for a little longer duration but the only good part is the temperature reducing which is okay monitor for a day or two otherwise consult your doctor once
