#asktheexperts MY baby is 6.5 months old, she caught a cold and slight fever 15 days back, The fever lasted for a day but the mucus discharge from nose continued and from yesterday she has cough. Is this normal for a common cold to last these many days and what medications should be followed. Currently on saline nasal drops and nasivion baby. Doctor asked to avoid using cough syrup, only when we feel it's more giving relent plus. kindly advise
