Q.

#asktheexperts My baby has had a small lump on the back of his head since birth. Our doctor mentioned it is normal and nothing to worry about, but I’m wondering if it will eventually go away on its own or if any treatment is ever needed?

A. That you are mentioning can also be associated with lipoma which is hereditary to the child which is a fat ball and does not create any problem if it is not increasing or decreasing and if it is movable but not giving any pain then it’s not an issue if you want you can check with your doctor again since 2 1/2 years have passed to the birth
