#asktheexperts my 2 year old baby have cold after fever but she eat well and active ..but still she have fever last 2 days..just give paracetamol and cold syrup..why fever doesn't go

A. Hello, your baby girl is 26 months old and she is having a fever and then cold so it’s a viral infection and as she is doing well just give her paracetamol or ORS

A. If Fever is going to last for more than three days then you should go ahead with further checkup like blood test or something to know what is the reason behind because normal fever does not last for more than three days so if you need to go ahead with the blood test after consulting your doctor as it could be due to viral
