my baby also 17 months old.. I'm using finger brush and silicon brush which is available in Firstcry without paste.. we can use fluoride free paste also.. my doctor told to use paste when she learn to spit.. brush twice daily and brush if u find anything struck in the teeth.

brushing of kids teeth should start as soon as the first tooth appears in the baby's mouth. do not delay and further and start brushing using a grain size of kids age appropriate toothpaste like colgate kids, cheerio or kidodent. you can use any kids age appropriate toothbrush
