A. Dear parent, as a breastfeeding mother you should have a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Have proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, legumes, milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseeds. Have adequate fluid intake. Exercise for 45 to 60 minutes every day and have an active lifestyle.
