#asktheexperts is it necessary to go for 6 weeks postnatal checkup? What happens if i get intimidated with my husband befor 6 weeks postpartum? Can i get physically active with my husband after 6 weeks before postnatal checkup?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. It is not advisable for you to have sexual intercourse before six weeks because there will be chances of harm for you. Your body needs time to heal from the pregnancy trauma and it is better that you let it heal first.Write Your Answer Here

O It is not mandatory to go for a post natal check up if you have an issue then only you need to go otherwise it is not required and if you are talking about being physically active with your husband no matter what kind of a delivery you are paid you will have to wait for a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks
