#asktheexperts Iron tablets were prescribed for 45 days after the labor. Is it okay to stop after 45 days, or should I continue after that since I am doing breastfeeding.

A. I don’t know for how long has your doctor prescribe me but Iron calcium and multivitamin is supposed to be taken for initial six months after delivery and for some Women it can be 9 to 12 months also depending upon how they are coping up
