#asktheexperts I was having a hyperthyroidism during pregnancy and I do have it now as well but after my delivery the hospital didn't checked thyroid for my baby . now my baby is 2 year old. do I need to check it now?

A. No it is not necessary to check thyroid for the child do some doctors do it after the child takes birth initially in the hospital but usually it comes High and there is no point getting it done at that time so if you wanna try it now you can get a thyroid test done otherwise it’s actually not required
