Taking the child in the flight is not going to be a problem but if the nose is congested or the problem of cold and cough is even there it’s on the lower side check with your doctor to give medicine which will help in comforting the child and the child can sleep on the flight comfortably so the journey would be much better when you travel via flight with a child already is having a little bit of a issue of cold and cough
